Conservation:

The stone was first reported to RJH and RDRG by Mykhailo Vorobets, who showed the stone to us in use as an entry step at a house in the Zavoda area west of the Hnyla Lypa River in Rohatyn in May 2011. At the time, we were unable to recover the stone, but it was reported again ten years later by the new residents of the house, who had removed it from the front door and set it aside for recovery. The stone was recovered by RJH in September 2021 and returned to the old Jewish cemetery.
