Epitaph English:
Zion for the living soul
... ... ... a monument set for rest
a woman of courage, modest and honorable, God-fearing
... ... ... her soul safe
and her faith living ... in death she shares the crown of her husband
and ... her sons, Chaya Drezner, peace be with her soul
the daughter of our teacher Yisrael, may he rest in peace
she ... has passed away in the best
of her years, and her soul ascended to heaven
on my Shabbat kodesh, 26 Shevat [5]693
may her soul be bound in the bond of (eternal) life

she rested and stood in greatness to the end of the right hand
she died in the heights(?) of heaven, the fruit of her deeds
... in the ways of the Torah, in her treading [fear]
... will bow down over her ...
... the grave of her bones ...

Stone Condition:
two corners of the stone are broken and lost, but nearly the entire extensive epitaph is intact
Conservation:
This headstone and more than a hundred others were recovered from under the asphalt paving of vul. Hanna Barvinok southwest of the Lviv city center over several days in June 2018, in a volunteer event organized by the Sholem Aleichem Jewish Cultural Society of Lviv and the Lviv Volunteer Center. The stones were then moved to the new Jewish cemetery adjacent to the Yanivskyi Cemetery northwest of the city center, from which they were likely originally stolen during the German occupation of World War II.
For more information, see the About Lviv page on this website and Case Study 13 on the website A Guide to Jewish Cemetery Preservation in Western Ukraine.
