Conservation:

The stone fragment was extracted along with about two dozen others in April 2014 from under a garden on vul. Ivan Franko in central Rohatyn, where others had been removed in a prior year. The excavation was arranged by Mykhailo Vorobets and carried out by Rohatyn city workers. The stone was left behind the garden under trees, but later moved to the vodokanal facility in the north part of Rohatyn. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have all of the stones moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.
