Stone Condition:

the stone is broken with only part of the epitaph surviving; surface damage and soil obliterate part of each surviving line

Conservation:

The stone was one of many found at undocumented locations around Rohatyn and recovered under the direction of Mykhailo Vorobets and moved to the new Jewish cemetery in 2013. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have the stone moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.
