fair; only the top portion survives, with a large symbol and four lines of the epitaph, which is partially damaged
Conservation:
The stone was one of many found at undocumented locations around Rohatyn and recovered under the direction of Mykhailo Vorobets and moved to the new Jewish cemetery in 2012. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have the stone moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.

This stone likely belongs to Juda Schecter, reported as died on 11 January 1914 at age 43 in Firlejów (today Lypivka, a village about 13km north of Rohatyn), with his death confirmed by examination two days later (the 13th) by Dr. Stryslowki, and his burial in Rohatyn two days after his death (the 13th). AGAD record 300/0/3689 volume IV, sheet 205 line 4.
