Conservation:

This stone is one of several identified in 2011 by Mykhailo Vorobets in the decaying building foundation of a storage shed in the courtyard behind the wartime Gestapo headquarters on vul. Halytska near vul. Shevchenka. The stone was recovered by car on the same day it was identified (12Oct2011) and taken to the new Jewish cemetery. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have the stone moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.
