Stone Condition:

fragmented but otherwise very good, with a very legible epitaph; the bottom portion is lost, with only one line of the epitaph remaining

Conservation:

The stone was one of many found at undocumented locations around Rohatyn and recovered under the direction of Mykhailo Vorobets and moved to the new Jewish cemetery in 2011. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have the stone moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.
