Conservation:
The stone was one of many found at undocumented locations around Rohatyn and recovered under the direction of Mykhailo Vorobets and moved to the new Jewish cemetery in 2011. The stone was first documented by RJH in May 2024. Mr. Vorobets later arranged to have the stone moved to the old Jewish cemetery in spring 2015.

The shapes in the residual carving suggest this may have been a double headstone, i.e. meant for a husband and wife or a parent and child.
