the stone is broken into at least three pieces, with parts of the epitaph missing; the surface is in fair to good condition, with the surviving lines legible

Conservation:

The stone was placed anonymously at the entry gate of the old Jewish cemetery in Rohatyn before 2008. It was moved to the grounds of the new Jewish cemetery by 2012, then to the grounds of the old Jewish cemetery in 2015.
