Stone Condition:

stone is broken with the top portion missing, but most of the epitaph is intact on the face; white paint added in 2017 slightly obscures the incised lettering

Conservation:

in autumn 2017 the stone was attached to a concrete base and false grave cover, with a steel awning erected overhead, and given a new coat of white paint with black lettering; a sign attached to the new structure says the work was done by the Hasidic organizations Agudas Ohalei Tzadikkim and Geder Avos
