Recovered from a walkway behind the house at vul. Adama Mitskevycha 8 in downtown Dobromyl in March 2016, then installed in a newly-constructed Wall of Memory at the Dobromyl Jewish cemetery in May and June 2016; see the web page About Dobromyl for more information.

[N2] Hebrew מצוין, although it appears to be spelled מציון [perhaps reflecting the Hasidic-Yiddish pronunciation 'metziyun'].
[N3] הלך תמים, literally 'walked flawlessly', is translated as 'of flawless character'.
[N5] ישעיה [or ישעיהו] is slightly shortened to ישעי in order to avoid inscribing the divine name יה [or יהו]. The biblical name יששכר Yisaschar has a silent second ש letter and is pronounced Yisachar, to the extent that it is often spelled as ישכר. Day to day, the name pair was probably expressed as one ─ 'Shayasucher'.
[N6] Yozpe [various transliterated spellings] is a secular name, equivalent to the Hebrew Yosef.
[N7] Nothing legible remains of the date of death.
