Other Notes:
[N] The 'claim to fame' of the deceased is by way of his illustrious father, Zindel, whose book 'Zichron Yehuda' ['Commemoration of Yehuda' published 1876], echoes his given name Zindel by way of Zichron and reveals that he had another given name, Yehuda. Indeed, the title page records the author's full name as being Yehuda Zindel Mordechai son of Nechemiah Aryeh, President of the Holy Rabbinic Court 'Old Town'. As to the identity of this Old Town [Stare Miasto], the Latin-character text on the title page records that the book was self- published by 'J. Zindel Freindel [surname?], Rabiner Stare miasto' and printed by 'Zupnick & Knoller', Przemyśl. This city, with a thriving prewar Jewish population, is situated about 30km north of Dobromyl.
[N1] הרה'ג is the abbreviation for the rabbinic honorific הרב הגאון, 'the Rabbi the Gaon'.
[N1] החסיד 'saintly'. The intention may simply have been to label him as 'the Hasid', a Hasidic Jew.
[N2] אב'דק is the abbreviation for אב בית דין קודש, the position of leadership 'President [literally Father] of the Holy Rabbinic Court'.
[N3] בעה'מחס stands for בעל המחבר ספר, 'author of the book'.
[N4] Yehuda is spelled with an א rather than as יהודה, to avoid inscribing the divine Tetragrammaton name – the 4-letter transliteration YHVH, Jehovah.

Stone is recorded as Grounded because it is fixed in the Wall of Memory.
