Other Notes:
[N5-6] Literally 'who departed to her world in the noontide of her youth' – i.e. the calm resting time of mid-life. The phrase 'departed to her world' is a euphemistic expression for 'died'.
[N6] עלומיה is slightly abbreviated to עלומי' to avoid inscribing the divine name יה.
[N7] The abbreviation בר'ח 'on Rosh Chodesh', the beginning of the month, appears contradictory to the adjacent '23rd day'. It probably represents the 'title' ascribed uniquely to Nisan, this month being one of the four Jewish 'new years', each with its own calendrical perspective. Nisan is referred to thus ─ 'This month shall mark for you the beginning of the months; it shall be the first of the months of the year for you' [Exodus 12:2] – הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה לָכֶם רֹאשׁ חֳדָשִׁים; רִאשׁוֹן הוּא לָכֶם לְחָדְשֵׁי הַשָּׁנָה. Thus the abbreviation ברֹאשׁ חֳדָשִׁים – בר'ח is translated in this instance as 'the primary month'.
[N10] Spelled Roza on line 4; spelled Roiza at the base, alongside her surname.
See About Dobromyl for an index to headstone locations in the Wall of Memory.
Stone is recorded as Grounded because it is fixed in the Wall of Memory.
