Other Notes:
[N2] An avrech אברך is a student – young-unmarried or usually-older and married – who studies in a yeshiva full- or substantially-full time. Married avrechim study in a separate hall from other yeshiva students known as a Kollel.
[N3-4] Literally 'stood at the threshold of the shadows of the righteous of the generation'.
[N4-5] Literally, as one would do with a flower, 'he was plucked in half his days'.
[N8] The month of Av is often termed Menachem-Av. Menachem [also used as a given name] means 'for consolation'. The Jerusalem Temple was destroyed on the 9th of Av; Menachem is symbolically added as a prefix – in the future, may this sad month no longer be associated with death but become one of consolation.
See About Dobromyl for an index to headstone locations in the Wall of Memory.
Stone is recorded as Grounded because it is fixed in the Wall of Memory.
